Egg freezing?
« on: June 21, 2016, 10:49:10 am »
Hello,

I have been looking into the idea of egg freezing and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experiences.  The articles online indicates that it is not a procedure allowed in Singapore but could be done overseas for now?

Hi lisa,  :)
i believe egg freezing in Singapore is allowed only if there is medical reason? i understand that our govt is still not sure of its clinical outcomes. When i visited a fertility clinic with my sister's delivery of her baby, i really appreciate Dr. Ann Tan. i even checked her website and found out she also conduct egg retrievel. f u wanna check, here's a link http://www.anntan.com.sg/patient-info/saving-your-fertility.html

why not talk to her about it personally too so you can share your concern.

Hi anyone thought of freezing your eggs overseas since is not allowed in sg?
or anyone has done it overseas.. which clinic/hospital did you go.. care to share your experience and cost?

I have thought of it in my early 30s, even did a fertility test at 35 which my FSH is within good range and AMH is 20-25yr age group. Hence, i have put off thinking is not the most important thing to spent on and I shouldn't be that bad few yrs down the road since the test result was quite good as per my doc.

Now that im turning 37, i really regret not doing earlier and not having enough knowledge about it. I recently read that 37,38 is the point after which everything will decline "rapidly". omg so sad and i have yet to find the Mr Right.

I don't know if I will ever get married but I am seriously deciding of buying an insurance "in case". Any like-minded girls ?
