Delayed Menses
« on: July 28, 2016, 05:55:18 pm »
My menses is always regular, like 28 days per cycle. But since my last menses in May, it seems like it will never come again  :'(

I used pregnancy test kit to make sure that I wasn't pregnant, I also went to polyclinic to double check. All the test were negative
Last 2 weeks, I thought my menses came (my virginal mucus got sign of blood and there were spotting on my liner), but... it was all a hoax.

I intend to visit polyclinic again to get a referral to KKH to check what is exactly going on. Cause even when I'm stressed, my menses was never delayed.

I recently experience a delayed menstrual cycle. My usual cycle is about 30-32 days in length and this month, my CD went as long as 46 days. I was sure I am not pregnant so I was not worried but the PMS is killing me (cramps and breakouts). I increased my vit c intake, this was recommended to me when I was still in college and experienced the same thing. It worked well again.

How is your condition now??
My menses always delay for at least one week, I also dunno why. But what I do know is that if you are sick and taking medicine, there might be some blood but might not be menses that's what happen to me. Then, my menses come after 1 or 2 weeks.

Maybe could try natural ways to expedite it, like eating pineapple?

To ease your worries, it may be hormones imbalance issue. Can be done by blood test at KKH.

My case is that I never had menses for some years. I tried many ways but didn’t work out.
Got referred to KKH to solve menses issue. It turned out to be hormone imbalance problems and need to take oral medicine to regulate menses but need to share the history such as other health issues.

Doctor will advise you, don’t worry.

It depends on different individual. Keep us updated, yeah.

Cheers
