Winter clothes preparation shop recommendation?
« on: December 31, 2018, 09:55:10 pm »
Will be going to Hokkaido coming CNY for their Snow Festival. Temperatures are predicted to be mostly in the negatives, dipping as low as -10 degrees celcius. This is my first time going on such a cold trip and honestly I haven't prepared very much. Don't intend to spend a lot on clothes either since I'm not sure when I'll wear them again.

I have a few options for tops and bottoms - Uniqlo Ultra Warm Heattech. I saw an article where someone in Japan tested it in winter on a motorbike, seems pretty legit.

For shoes wise, I am thinking of getting cheap ones from Qoo10? Is there any other options? Not too expensive, but good enough quality for 7 days in winter.... and most importantly, must look nice!  8)

For tops,  you could also consider polartech or polarfleece

Bottoms, you might want snowshoes
