the birds (chicken or duck) in the Albert St roadside hawker stall seems a bit anaemic .... :-[

also I saw some buildings that still exists even today.  The Hai Nam Kongsi building at Beach Road and the Hotel81 along Mayo Street in picture #33

if you think these are fascinating,  wait till you see rare film footage that was recently donated by a british guy whose father used to be stationed in Singapore.

I think the films are being restored/archived ...
