Wedding, Home and Family / Re: Real Wedding cake for banquet?

Hmm quite hard if senior colleague though and everyone else going haha :-X
Luckily my current job no colleague lol.

I recently attended one of my cousin’s wedding, with only 2/10 cousins attended. The rest can’t be bothered to go. Pretty sure colleagues will be easier to reject

I dunno ... i never went for cakes ... too much sugar and calories ....

Use the hotel cake and save money for the house.

Or contribute to CDA with matching dollar for dollar contribution from gahment ....

Not going to have kids though.

We already plan to have a wedding cake so, yeah. Not channeling the money to elsewhere, although i know not many will appreciate a real wedding cake.

Definitely dapao so that can go home earlier lol.

You can always reject attending a wedding you know. No one force you to.

Wedding, Home and Family / Real Wedding cake for banquet?

My fi and I have decided to skip overseas photoshoot, so we currently have some excess budget for our wedding. I am also considering getting real wedding cake for my wedding banquet. My hotel has provided with the standard dummy cake for cake cutting, but don't feel like using it.

Just wanna know if anyone here has gotten a real wedding cake? And what should I look out for?

As guests, would you want a slice of wedding cake for dessert after a bowl of yam paste? One slice according to the baker is around 1" x 1" x 3", so that's like 2 mouth full.

Or would you rather dapao the cake home (like a box of the cake per family or whoever that wanna takes), or not have any cake at all (then I might get a smaller cake that don't serve all guests).

Women's Health / Re: Menstruation Cup - Would u use one?
« on: July 06, 2017, 07:10:24 pm »
don't think i feel comfortable. :-\
i'll keep worrying it'll spill.
i'll rather stick to normal pads.

Converting to cup is the best decision ever, I'm not even joking.
I rather have menses spilling while in the shower than have pads leaking without me knowing.
Also, pads give me really bad rashes.

The cup lasts for up to 10 years too!

the small picture is being inconsiderate to minority of people. the big picture is being considerate to the majority of people by ensuring national security.

would you rather be led by a leader who welcomes all refugees?   :-[ :-[

Our media is very biased against trump. I haven't seen our news reporting about this.

The travel ban is wildly reported here and blowing out of control.

I feel like the majority of Americans are okay with all these new policies. Only a small group are protesting. Correct me if I'm wrong

Actually this proposal of his makes sense.  Encourage work pass holders that are highest paid instead.  This will ensure jobs are really required and can't be filled by Americans.

Unlike singapore's system with a minimum level cut-off.

A company will pay highest for talents that can't be filled locally instead of substituting jobs with cheaper labour "FTs"

Agree with you, this will actually do America good. Singapore is doing the exact opposite lol. Cheaper better faster.

No doesn't work for pitted scars, unless they are very very minor. My scars are still there but less obvious.

I bought 12 sessions

Today NYE no work, so spent afternoon reading on blue balls, cheating, affairs etc

It seem like the common argument is guys need to release regularly, if not it's bad for the sperms quality and health.

This is confusing....because monks pretty much practice abstinence.

And then construction workers here have no where to "let it go"~

Yet during war, the first things soldiers do is rape civilians -__-

Since when construction workers got no where to let it go. So many maids are getting pregnant and abortions these days.  ::)

Yes BTO need wait 5 years to complete. I personally find it very, very, VERY long.

I'm 25 now and BTOing, meaning I will only get the house when I'm 30 yo!!!?!?!  :o :o
What if I don't get a number, then I will wait even longer? Hearsay from edmw got people try 3 years still no decent number.  ::)

How old did you all try for BTO?

How much do you all spend on all these sessions? Very sim tia </3 when paying but so far results are good.

Also feel very stressful, when they keep recommending procedures and packages for me, sometimes they really want you to have better skin, other times also for their commission. I feel so stressed when I sign for packages without much knowledge of the procedure.

But I am quite new to all this so yeah

you mean your scabs only appeared after 2 weeks? then what's in for those 2 weeks? normal looking skin? or do you mean the whole downtime is actually 2 weeks (scab-forming on raw skin) + 1 to 2 days (peeling of scabs)?

Yes scabs only appear after 2 weeks.
Those 2 weeks are baby smooth poreless skin. okay not poreless la, but really very small pores I just put light powder foundation can already.

No downtime. I guess down time is like that scabbing of 24 hours after 2 weeks of the laser. If you can remove the scabs then it will be less than 24 hours lor.

HOPE THIS CLARIFIES! SO CONFUSING TO ANSWER ALSO HAHAHA.
