Can Pets feel your emotions?
« on: October 22, 2015, 12:07:21 am »
Do you think pets can feel your emotions?
I have both a dog and a cat...

I honestly think my dog can feel my emotions. When I am sad, my dog will come quietly to me and sit next to me......
when I am happy, it will come disturb me play with me...

i hope i am not the only pet owner to feel that!

PS: my cat... lol.. it only come to me when it is hungry....

I believe animal can sense our emotion. My dog know better behave herself and act guai when I am in bad mood. When I am sick will just sleep beside me.

Most funny part is, keep smelling and paw us to see if we are still alive when we are sick

I think is cos dogs have pack mentality. To them you are the pack leader. Whereas for cats they will forever stick to their hunter instincts no matter how domesticated they are

Yes animals can feel emotions, but mostly are one dimensional eg happy sad anger and disgust, same like the movie inside out. Humans have a higher intellectual ability to understand multiple levels of feelings.

Dogs seem like they are able to "understand" human emotions because they decipher tones the same way humans do. Like they can tell loud and high voice means you're happy, loud and low voice means you're angry etc.

Yes, they can definitely feel it and it's whether they wanna act on it anot. Our animals absorb our energy and it's always the case that if we fall sick or feel stress, they will too. So please take care of yourself and your pets will be healthier too.

I have cats and they are mostly very bo chap. One day, one of my cat just came and sleep on my tummy which he never ever does. He slept for hours and I couldn't move cuz I can't bear to wake him up. Soon, we found out that I'm pregnant! How amazing!! Haha!!
