Jason Yp L says -
"We don't need a minister to tell us this. We need a minister to keep creating job for the citizen. Training in the last hour will not help. Especially, those training is a crash course. This is not retraining nor picking up a new skill set. Non of the employer will recognize it. What the G should do is to get those "FT" out and make sure the employer employ local. I know the G is doing it but not enough. We have too many of them around. Perhaps we should think of going back to production. With Singaporean attitude standard I am sure we can achieve a very good quality standard that the world needs. Production is the era of my time, many of the 60s & 70s are trained for productivity and high quality standard. We were training in the National Productivity Board before. Sadly now the name has changed. Just invite investor back and we have all our people re-employ. I am sure the world has bad experience about cheap production and cheap materials. Many of them have suffer bad reputation, rejection, lost order etc.... So think now..........."

This is a laughable comment from Jason.

Manufacture what? Produce what in Singapore?  Iphones and Galaxy Tablets?
