Ya loh. With the economy downturn, banks will also be wary of ppl who borrow money to fund their property. Seriously, its still expensive here. If property prices drop further, overseas investors might be more willing to invest their money in properties here than elsewhere.
Those developers are only looking to sell their units at a high price niah.

The additional buyer's stamp duty is pushing investors away lah..

Only sg peasants are willing to pay $100 1st before entering casinos.  You think foreign investors so dumb meh?
