Sterilizer / Milk Bottles etc
« on: April 10, 2017, 01:23:10 pm »
I have been using two sterilizers for my milk bottles.

One is philips but without drying fuction. I use only at my mother place when I have no choice.
Use sterilizer liao then shake the excess water out...

The others Simba Sterilizer, got UV or steam.
i bought the steam function, with drying function
so its very convenient to use. bought from www.totsworld.com.sg

i am lazy lah, prefer convenience.

Milk bottles I have been using both simba and pigeon bottles.
all okay but recently my hubby bought DrBrown in an attempt to reduce my son's milk-vomit episodes.
DrBrown bottles are more expensive, as they are designed with special equipments to reduce the airflow in the milk. A bit heartpain, he bought from Robinson at more than 30 bucks for 2 glass bottles
another $10 for level 2 teats (as my son is greedy, the level 1 teats is too slow for him)

hope more mummy can share their bottles and sterillizer uses
Loving life here!

It is really very necessary and important to clean and sterilize the baby's bottle. When sometimes some residue is difficult to remove by simply swinging, you can use a baby bottle brush that can reach deep into the bottom and clean the bottle completely without scratching it.

Oh haha I have amother recommendation.

This Umee bottle I think is pretty new. The bottle is PPSU which is better than PP which is of higher quality plastic and can withstand higher temperature. I feel that the plastic also feels thicker than some other brands of bottles using PPSU. It is also ergonomically designed so baby can grip the bottle easier. Most importantly it comes with anti-colic vent to prevent baby from taking in too much air when drinking.
