Not sure about pregnancy but coconut water is very good for hangovers.  And I heard that they used coconut water for emergency IVs during WW2!

Errmmmm .... You learnt this from MacGyver izziiiiiiiit? ???

Simi MacGyver?  From experience lah.. coconut water + 100plus or any isotonic drink is my go-to cure for hangovers.

As for IVs, I read it from somewhere.

MacGyver is a top agent for the Phoenix Foundation, a progressive agency devoted to righting the wrongs of the world. Even more progressive is the genius MacGyver, who never carries a gun and always thwarts the enemy with vast scientific knowledge - sometimes with little more than a paper clip and the duct tape in his pocket.

Should have some truth. But don't drink too early. Drink it maybe the last 2 weeks of pregnancy, cos it is "liang" (cooling), we should not drink "liang" during pregnancy. It makes the birth "cleaner", and reduces chances the baby has jaundice. My 3 kids all either didn't have jaundice, or had very mild one that lasted 1-2 days only.

Oh yes, you must only drink the young coconut (not old). Don't drink those packeted or UHT ones.
