Argan Oil for Hair?
« on: August 07, 2016, 07:13:07 am »

shiny-straight-hairArgan oil is often used as a hair treatment. It is extremely beneficial for hair and scalp, and is commonly used as a conditioner.

Vitamin E is extremely beneficial for hair, and is found in argan oil in high quantities. Vitamin E promotes healthy hair growth as it contains antioxidants, which help boost cells and encourage them to produce healthy hair – it has even been used for hair regrowth.

Argan oil has a number of benefits when used on hair. It can act as a moisturiser for the scalp to fight dandruff and dry scalp. It can also promote the growth of healthy, strong hair as opposed to thin, brittle hair. It can even undo some of the damage done through chemical treatments and dyes, and can be used to treat split ends.

Immediate benefits can also be seen in people who use argan oil on their hair. It is an excellent agent for taming frizz and promoting shine and gloss, as well as softer, more manageable hair.

Argan oil is non-irritating and actually reverses much of the damage done by artificial chemicals and treatments on hair. It is often used in its pure form for healthy, soft and shiny hair. Below are a few of the best ways to use argan oil on hair

I don't like to use leave on treatment on the hair esp those oil based.

prefer those creamy wash off hair mask.

a good argan oil shouldn't leave your hair oily, that's why it's also called 'dry oil'. if you find your hair oily after using argan oil, it's either you're using way too much or your argan oil isn't pure/good enough.
well, that's what i've heard.

anyway i've used up my argan oil. wondering if i should try out other oils or stick to argan. is jojoba good for face? i've tried for hair and found it ok, just dunno if i can put on my face like argan oil or not...

MiaMia is correct I use Pro Naturals Moroccan argan oil after every shampoo as a leave in treatment. I put a drop on my palms, smooth it mainly to the ends and up the hair shaft (damp hair) - then blow dry & heat style because my hair is dead straight. The argan oil that I use is also a very good heat protectant.
Read this link it might help you:   http://www.pro-naturals.com/sg/news/argan-oil-uses-benefits.html
Hope it helps you.

I switched to Argan oil because Rosehip is said to not recommended for people who suffer from acne.
