i have not bought an airfryer yet... but still pondering.
ooo i really like deep fried food (who doesn't?) sigh.. but avoiding it due to health reasons.

wah.. if the tastes is not that far off, this would be a gift from heavens...  ::) ::)

didnt know there is an airfryer with an glass cover (thats what u meant right?)
that would be so much easier to see if the food is cooked!

Yup. I was looking at that. But it is expensive loh. Tefal costs around $300+. There is another Korean brand but it is only selling in Qoo10. That one costs around $150+.
But as you can view from the top, that means the airfryer will occupy a bigger space as compared to Philips.

hello @Allymcbeal!

i cook most of my food with my AF (mayer brand, the lowest end becoz i was a little skeptical initially). but i was blown away by the amount of stuff an AF can do. really a much healthier alternative compared to deep frying, and hey no oil :)

i've made cripsy tofu, popcorn chicken, zai er (the ones you can get at the vegetarian beehoon store), keropok, seaweed chicken, cheesy portobello mushrooms, taiwan sausages, cheese hotdogs, etc. i did try airfry leftover chicken wings from KFC previously as well, and they turned out as succulent - just like how i had bought them. have not tried making chicken wings or cutlets with it yet, but i've heard of many success stories... but the breading part is a little too messy and a big chore for me to clean up :P

i also make baked pasta and rice with my AF. basically by placing my ingredients in casserole bowl/foil bowl, season and put in AF at 200 deg for 10-12mins. below are some of my creations. i got most of my recipes ideas (pictures 1 to 3) online and modified them a little. google's your best friend!

@nomnom i hope this tempts u to invest in an airfryer hehe..

1. mushroom baked pasta:

2. curry baked rice:

3. baked back bacon and eggs:

3. airfried spring rolls:

4. airfried seaweed chicken:
