macaroons?

not sure if this is the right place... are macaroons (macarons??) as difficult to make as they say?

its not easy but takes a few times of session to improve upon it.

but most failures are still pretty delicious!

yes!! the shell is soooo hard to make properly. mine turned out horrid but still tasted nice. just looks wise... meh :-\

Cant over mix or under mix the meringue with the almond/icing sugar and some recipes mentioned a certain amount of times you need to fold  :o

do you know anything about the room temperature? i heard must maintain some temperature when making macaroons.

I think the egg whites must be room temperature and after piping the macarons must let it sit for a period of time until they are dry enough to be touched. Then they will form "feets" after baked
