there used to be a Japanese restaurant at Windsor Hotel (near MacPherson) but I don't know where it has moved to since that place is undergoing a major makeover ....

better safe than sorry

actually i done lots of research on this... most of the stories out there on facebook are fake. i click and googled on many of the stories. like the japanese farmer that cried coz he refused to sell crops grown in his farmland, etc etc.. all make up stories.
and the radiation that spread to elsewhere.

from what i know is, they removed the top soil and they have waited a sufficient time to test all the soil and crops.

current harvest is always tested and destroyed if there is abnormal radiation. the japanese are very proud and conscious of their work.
they will never consider anything that is immoral.

what i do not understand is the lots of fake websites and articles just to create fake stories against the food.

seriously, even if all the farmers are evil, the japanese govt is evil, the singapore govt is evil, u think not a single person would do a whistleblower stunt for the whole thing to collapse?
It just need 1 single whistleblower.

one concerned farmer who ask his son to go buy other vegetables from supermarket instead of eating their own produces.
one distributor who warns his good friend not to buy his produces
one govt agency officer who knows abt the level and casually told his friends not to buy.
one shipper who knows the level of radiation on his plane or ship.
one AVA officer who saw the test results.

Just 1 single guy can ensure that any secrets, no matter what are the intention, would be blew to huge proportion ton the internet...

and u guys still think the Japanese farmers, the govt, the shippers, the distributor, the AVA officers are out there to cover a deep secret?

hate this damn overused motto of "be safe than sorry", that is always abused by people on the internet.

due dilligent! not "safe than sorry".
