Foodstuff from China
« on: January 11, 2016, 12:42:15 pm »
I noticed that NTUC imports plenty of foodstuff from China including broccoli which used to be from Australia.

Now, many fruits and vegetables selling at NTUC are from China.

Would you buy them?

No way. I won't eat fruits from China.

As for vegetables, I can't help it when I eat outside but if I were to cook, I will never buy veg originating from China.

I recently saw NTUC selling small boxes of persimmons which stated they are from Israel.

So many wording on the box are in Chinese but it's stated the fruits are from Israel.

I ended not buying.
