I think it depends on couple to couple.
My spouse wants a joint account to pay for everything but i said no need.
i just deposit my pay check to her account every month and let her handle all the finances.

different people got different ways to go about it. but one thing is for sure, whether you have a personal account or not, there must be a joint account used solely for family building.

I think it's normal to have separate  accounts since everyone already has their own personal accounts before they got married. My wife and I have a joint account where we put 50-50 inside for saving though.

I agree on this too, give both parties some financial flexibility and security.  :)

i think separate accounts, but one joint to add in some money. Always equal share in joint though.

But, it all depends on your SO and you.
