but really .... when prices of properties were going up in the heydays of 2010 - 2014 ..... did anyone from REDAS complain that property prices were becoming unaffordable? ???


Private property prices have fallen 8.4 per cent by the last three months of 2015 since the peak in the third quarter of 2013, data by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) showed. However, the nine consecutive quarters of decline is still shy of the more than 60 per cent increase in prices after the global financial crisis



we need at least 60% down in prices to bring back affordable housing

Government won't bother with them one lah, I think some of the developers can afford to let go of units at even lower prices but they are holding on to see if the measures will be relaxed.

Now is a test of their financial power lor.. I just pity the smaller developers.
