So who is in the "wrong"? ???

1.  The insured for not disclosing prior medical condition?

2.  Negligence of insurance agent for not applying due diligence in going through the terms and condition?

3.  Insurance company for not honouring the coverage of an upgraded policy?

Its 2 if you read the article. =_= the patient is illiterate.. Agent was hasty in closing case and couldn't care less since most uplines emphasize on the speed of closing above most..hope the insurance industry further improves itself to avoid such cases happening again..

I thought insurance agents were taught "moral hazards" from the get-go.

this was what was told to me by my insurance agent many many years ago when policemen wore shorts.

I wonder if the standard has dropped in the quest for closing more deals :(
