This 65daigou is a scam! My friend's item is only very small, but she got charged 250 grams volumetric weight and 150 actual weight.

Unfortunately for 65daigou, my friend check with the taobao merchant and confirm the item is only 50grams! We confronted 65daigou and insisted to re-weigh the item before collection.

Suddenly, the actual weight miraculously drop from 250g (150g) to 60g! This Agnes gave excuse say it's because they help to remove packaging. Ya right! The taobao merchant give bullet proof packaging is it? Weigh 100g, double the item weight itself!

After getting caught red-handed, she still have the cheek to say don't trust us go and use our competitors without even apologising.

Typical china company, cheat if can, shirk responsibility if get caught. Singapore is a small country but the people here are not stupid, wouldn't be long until public learns of your dirty methods.

Be careful of these 15% off marketing tricks. Give you 15% off here, sneakily weight add another 500% net net you still lose. Insist on weigh measurement check and don't get cheated by this Agnes and this China company which act as if no big deal and never apologise after this incident.

Regret not comparing before using their service. Simple google will show many forum complaints about their underhand methods. Their facebook also has several complaints that will appear for a day or two, then suddenly disappear after their admin delete. Fellow forum users got to beware.

wah.. why got such unethical business pple one...
cannot stand such practices!
thanks for highlighting this!!

Its actually quite easy to purchase from taobao. The hardest part is doing it for the first time as you will be skeptical of the steps.

After the first successful shipment, everything will seems so simple.

As for me i use 4px to send me my stuff. Furniture wise need to send via ship cause its cheaper as furniture stuff is heavy and big.

As far i as know, 65daigou offer ship service. You can try 65daigou if you are getting furniture stuff.

Hope this helps!

I used Peeka to ship my stuff back to SG because i am shipping fragile items like mirror, light bulbs, lightings etc. When the stuff reaches Peeka's warehouse in China, they will open up the items to check before repackaging them into smaller boxes. This will help to reduce your cost. If any item is wrong or damaged, they will help you to exchange it with the seller before repackaging them and send it to Sg.

you can get anything from taobao! from dustbins to table clothes to curtains and bedsheets. furnitures and even shelves. just need to send it to a parcel forwarding company for them to courier back to sg.

The easy way to learn tb is via diagou. Once got a hang of it can try ordering yourself. Ordering yourself can save a lot but u have to liase with the seller yourself.

So far touch wood the stuff that I order still in good condition. My warehouse furniture including reception desk also from tb

TB addict here!

my new crib is 80% TB items! I only purchase electronics appliances & sofa in SG, other than that, its all TB! ^^

It is definitely cheaper to save on the agent fees by ordering yourself and shipped via a 3rd party forwarder(for big items).

I have been buying from taobao for the last 8years, switching from taobao agent, to daigou, to 4px and recently, just started using a freight forwarder which sea ships all my items over :)

The charges in daigou already quite good. Is if cheaper when you do it yourself?

What if the goods delivered is spoiled? They can refund me my money?

Do I need a china savings account?

i think taobao got one account for them to refund money. and then u can use it for next purchase.

i only read about it but not yet experience with it.

buying from taobao is a risk. there is no warranty. even if there is, it would make no sense to ship the item back for exchange and then ship the new set over to sg again. you just have to do the necessary homework about the seller and then weigh the risk with the cost-savings. i bought from Taobao frequently and i am proud to say so far no issues with my purchases.
