« on: October 17, 2015, 11:42:34 pm »
Looking for engagement rings now. So many to choose from I don't even know where to start.

I used to eye on Love & co., now maybe Jann Paul. I also did consider other precious and semi-precious stones before, eg sapphire.

SIC your rings and price pls! TIA!

engagement ring my husband bought brilliant rose.

as for wedding bands, we designed our own with eClarity. rotating rings with 4 types of gold. husband lost his while playing soccer (cos he never took it off once since our wedding) and we could make a replica cos they still had our blueprint.

the best part? it wasn't expensive! i think under 2k for our pair.

Camping in this thread to know what's the "market rate" so that I can undercut the rate when it's my turn to buy that big fat rock  ;)

market rate according to de Beers is 2/3x your salary.

if you wanna buy cheap, buy from online diamond sellers and set the ring in a local shop like Larry's or something. depends on your other half ba. buying online can save you about 50%, but when friends ask her where the ring is from... then yar la.

my proposal ring was from meyson, a solitaire ring.

I "upgraded" to a square halo casing 2 years later. both rings are from eclarity. ^^
