What's your resting/general heart rate?
« on: February 20, 2016, 12:59:19 pm »
I was playing around with my health tracker when i realised my resting heart rate is lower than what's stated as the normal range of 66 to 82 bpm....
wonder if falling out of normal range is okay or not?

I think for those ppl who run a lot, their pulse rate will be low.

Mine is 60-70s.

googled : "cyclist resting heart rate "

The normal amount the heart needs to work while a person is resting is 70 beats per minute, but to do the same job in endurance athletes, the body typically only needs 40 beats per minute. The cyclist Miguel Indurain was reported to have a resting heart rate of just 28 beats per minute.Jul 26, 2012
