From Liposonix (HIFU) to Fat Freezing (Cryolipolysis) to RF to Body Wrap with Capsule etc.

Have you tried them and do they ever work?

since @PhitPhuck asked about my slimming centre experience, I shall share my horrible experience at Dorra Slimming.
Well actually, they don't need me to drag their name any deeper into the mud.
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/fight-dorra/qMCY-rIyZGk%5B1-25%5D

All their consultants are super hardsell type, like they will die if you don't take up their offers. Even after you broke under their pressure and take up a darned expensive package thinking that it will satisfy them, you've really just opened the door to more hardselling and pressurising as they will push more products and upgrades to you every single visit.

The 'best' thing about Dorra? Is that their treatment doesn't work. At least, it doesn't give you results that's visible to normal people. Only the Dorra staff can see the 'obvious' slimming effect their treatment has done on you.  >:(

yes, sadly they still are open, and scamming people.
and actually i still have leftover treatments with them but i refused to complete it. the hardselling is no joke. my consultant once ever reached into my bag and grabbed my wallet while i was lying on the bed, for me to give her whichever card i want to use for the upgrade she's forcing me to pay for.

another no go spa place (which i think they do slimming too) is pretty 360.
long long loooonnngggg list of complaints here.

Actually I thought all those who advertise constantly on the radio and tv are the top scammers.

Eg, Dorra, New York Skin, Yun Nam Hair (NYS and Yun Nam are sister companies), shakura...

Yeah, i heard NYS and NYH are atrocious too. I think is the salary schemes this industry is using for their staff. when they're highly commission based, patron's well-being doesn't matter that much anymore.

Moral of the story... Do not go for trial/free/complimentary wait loss/facial sessions.

I think it needs another sim lim square story before the authorities will come down hard on this kind of companies.

CASE is very lousy, they can't do anything at all and the lemon law doesn't seem to protect the consumers much.

CASE is friggin lousy. you need to pay them a fee (that's also subjected to gst) before they will consider your case.

This is the epitome of hardsell / borderline robbery haha! I have never heard of salesmen reaching for customer's wallets before!

reach into your bag and took your wallet!? you should have called the police! that's considered stealing, since it is without consent. how nasty.... no wonder you've been scarred...
