should I go with the doctor whom I don’t trust?
« on: November 30, 2018, 04:17:46 pm »
I’m actually almost 24 and always suffered with jaw issue. Now I finally decided to change something about it. I’ve visited only 1 specialist in my area but the first-time connection as between the doctor and patient didn’t happen. Although, he is very popular and I’ve seen some celebrities visiting his clinic, I don’t actually think that can truly trust him. And I also think that his quotation was a bit overpriced… I’ve heard a lot about plastic surgeons in Seoul but I’m a bit afraid that they might be just too commercialized tho… maybe I should look for some other places?

you should definitely go to some other places! I remember when my bf decided to proceeded his facial contouring he visited like about 6 hospitals. Personally, I think it’s better to spend a bit more time on searching, contacting and visiting than later being sorry about the result you’d get, as from what I know revision surgeries are always cost more and rehab goes more complicated. So, why to put yourself both mentally and physically under such a great stress twice? Think carefully before choosing!

And where did he eventually go to? Can you also share what were some other places he went for a consultation?

I didn’t go to local clinics with him I only visited the ones that were in Seoul – ID, Banobagi and The Line or something… so, he finally chose Banobagi and doc Oh Changhyun. He even shared his results and story on realself. Here you can take a look https://www.realself.com/review/seoul-cheek-augmentation-27yo-male-cheekbone-reductionjaw-reductionchin

I’m not sure about the price for jaw reduction as he paid total… I do believe it was around $11K… although he proceeded like 4 surgeries at once but the rehab was quite smooth. He didn’t complain about pain at all but he was swollen like hell and that put him in awful discomfort for few weeks or so… another thing that was difficult for him to go through was the diet and no smoking/drinking about 2 months. The rest was fine… well, at least from what he’s saying
