Laser procedures for face
« on: October 31, 2015, 08:52:31 pm »
I am wondering if any people here underwent laser procedures for face, e.g. fractional laser?

You mean fractional laser? Yup. But if your face have lotsa pits due to acne scarring, need to do about 5 times or more before you can see lotsa improvements. If your face is generally ok, fractional laser can make ur face plumper and look young.

It depends where you go. If you go those atas ones, you are paying about $1-2k for 1 session.
The one i went to, is cheaper but ulu. It is about $2-3k for 5 sessions.

Recently, i went to have the Carbon Laser Peel done. This was the first time i did and results were ok. My face looked brighter and even when i woke up the next day, my face was not oily despite i did not applied moisturiser at night.
Benefits of the CLP are to stimulate collagen, reduce pigmentations etc.

I underwent 6 sessions of laser treatments over 3.5 years with Dr Donald or Alaxis.

Frankly, I forgot what type of laser he did as it could be any type depending on the skin condition at the time of the laser treatment. He has done several types for me.

I usually go for the laser treatment when I return from a tour as I would have been exposed to the sun more due to all the sightseeing and outdoor activities. The laser does help to smoothen the face and remove light pigmentation.

I’ve stopped going for laser treatment after my sessions ended.

Beautician - is first and foremost a profession. And not in any way is not the meaning of human life. Therefore, give a gift http://www.mooments.com/ , which is closely connected with professional activity, a little incorrect. But a good gift is one that is associated with human interests in their spare time :)

is there down time for fractional laser? there's so many lasers out there i can't differentiate which is which. i've been told those that works best for pitted scars will have about 3 days down time.

Yup. The down time for the latest fractional laser is 3 days. That works at collagen production/stimulation. There will be scabs at the 2nd day onwards and scabs will start to drop from 3rd day onwards. The older technology takes 1 week.

what's the estimated price range for 1 session ah? i've ever done a quick consultation at a medical aesthetic clinic, and the dr told me if the pitted scar is too deep, will need to do needling before doing laser.
wonder how much money i will have to burn in order to get rid of all my pitted scars on my cheeks.

Needling? What is needling?
The Dr that i went to, 5 sessions cost about 2-2.5k.
For those pitted scars, the Dr told me that it will take about 5 sessions or more (case by case basis). I know that some clinics in Orchard or MBS areas, it costs about 1k per session.

it might not be really called needling, but it's a procedure of doing multiple injections at the pitted scars using fine needles to break down the fibrous tissue that's pulling the pitted scar down.
