it might not be really called needling, but it's a procedure of doing multiple injections at the pitted scars using fine needles to break down the fibrous tissue that's pulling the pitted scar down.

My beautician said the micro needle will prick the skin and encourage collagen growth to reform the skin as per normal. There will be dark scarring I heard, downtime depending on skin. I really hope it is not too ugly during downtime. Will start my session in feb.

I'm doing glowzone facial at simply aesthetics, is it fractional laser? My scrabs appear about 2 weeks and peel off in one day, at most 2. Closes pores and skin is very smooth. Less than $200 per session only.

you mean your scabs only appeared after 2 weeks? then what's in for those 2 weeks? normal looking skin? or do you mean the whole downtime is actually 2 weeks (scab-forming on raw skin) + 1 to 2 days (peeling of scabs)?

Is it!?!?!?!?!?! To be honest I'm quite scared. I am also worried about the downtime  scarring. Anyone got reviews on this?

Yes scabs only appear after 2 weeks.
Those 2 weeks are baby smooth poreless skin. okay not poreless la, but really very small pores I just put light powder foundation can already.

No downtime. I guess down time is like that scabbing of 24 hours after 2 weeks of the laser. If you can remove the scabs then it will be less than 24 hours lor.

HOPE THIS CLARIFIES! SO CONFUSING TO ANSWER ALSO HAHAHA.

How much do you all spend on all these sessions? Very sim tia </3 when paying but so far results are good.

Also feel very stressful, when they keep recommending procedures and packages for me, sometimes they really want you to have better skin, other times also for their commission. I feel so stressed when I sign for packages without much knowledge of the procedure.

But I am quite new to all this so yeah

No doesn't work for pitted scars, unless they are very very minor. My scars are still there but less obvious.

I bought 12 sessions

Hi,

just wanted to share my 2 cents worth. Not all lasers are alike. Lasers are very specific and target with melanin (pigment), haemoglobin (blood) or water in the skin.

For example, if you have pigmentation problems such as freckles, age spots and melasma, you may want to consider treatment with a QS Nd:YAG laser. This laser can also be used to remove tattoos as well.

On the other hand, CO2 lasers target water in the skin. They are effective at removing moles, warts, and common skin growths.

For acne scars, you need to know that Type of scars you have. This is important as different scar types respond to different treatments. Fractional lasers are not good for ice pick scars, as these scars are typically deeper, and the laser will not be able to break down the scars.

Needling? What is needling?
The Dr that i went to, 5 sessions cost about 2-2.5k.
For those pitted scars, the Dr told me that it will take about 5 sessions or more (case by case basis). I know that some clinics in Orchard or MBS areas, it costs about 1k per session.

Has anyone tried clinics outside of downtown/posh areas? I have a feeling the machines are all the same, whether Orchard or Katong or Holland V?

usually the more reputable and expensive doctor would rent a place where it is more atas and accessible to the wealthier clienteles....
