Could Singapore have its own craft beer boom?
« on: March 05, 2016, 12:20:12 pm »
http://news.asiaone.com/news/business/could-singapore-have-its-own-craft-beer-boom

But the island nation's most popular beer-in term of total volume sales-still remains Tiger, made by Heineken-owned Asia-Pacific Breweries (APB), according to Euromonitor.

Errrmmmmm ..... Tiger still owned by Heineken-APB? ???

Or did CNBC get their facts wrong?  :-\

I thought Tiger was always under APB? Anyway, no difference right?

In fact, APB-the nation's leading brewer-has already joined the craft movement in an attempt to cash in on the global trend. APB owns Archipelago Brewery, a craft brewer that uses Asian flavorings such as lemongrass, tamarind and coriander.
- I don't understand why people drink beer that taste like spices.  You should be eating food flavoured with those spices to go with beer.

The Singha uniform looked good on her.  :P

Actually I thought Singha was some new Singaporean beer back then and it was probably near National Day which fueled my patriotism.  :-X
