Just wanna share this with you guys since I am pretty f*cking pissed at this company for wasting my time by not being honest about their motives and being shady as hell.

4mind ventures Pte Ltd
I googled for full story so pasted below:-

i went down a few days ago, to the address provided and went to the office. it was a rather small office, and the receptionist gave me a form to fill out, which asked for my personal details etc. , and my income and how many credit cards i had and from which banks. basically financial info.

i asked why i had to fill this and they said it was to register guests who come in so they can track who they've given the voucher to or some bullshit. Being tired after work and wanting to keep this short so i can go home, i filled it up. afterwards, this lady led me to the 14th floor of the same building, and i followed her (thinking the voucher was upstairs or smtg).

upon reaching, another lady took the form i just filled and asked for my IC to verify that my info is correct. i was on a phone call with a colleague regarding some urgent work stuff so i just gave my IC to her while i talked on the phone. shortly after, she confirmed that the particulars were correct and proceeded to show me a few numbers. there were about 12 - 16 sets of numbers i believe, each set of being 4 digits long, and she said that if the last 4 digits of my credit card number matched with any of those numbers, i will get an additional $50 capitaland voucher.

checked and mine didn't match, and she was like "ok no problem". then she gave me a sticker to paste on my shirt (but i was starting to sense something amiss) because of the sticker and also coz i peeked at what was beyond the front desk, and lo and behold - i saw a typical MLM setup : a bunch of tables and chairs with 'relationship managers' sitting down with potential clients discussing business, with posters of properties in the background and whatnot.

as usual, their managers are all dressed nicely in full suits, the girls with thick makeup. i was introduced to a manager, and she asked how i knew about this place, to which i replied "u guys said i'm here to collect a voucher" with a very neutral look. i think she could tell i was sensing the bullshit. she replied "ok no worries we'll get to that" , and she asked if I'm interested in asset management and all, i said no and she asked why. i said "i'm just not interested" . then another guy came out of nowhere and said we can go to the conference room and i was thinking of leaving, but she said i just agreed to attend a 15 minute talk, which was stated in the form i filled when i arrived at the office. i honestly don't remember seeing it on the form, but anyway i just followed her coz i was curious as to what kind of horseshit this whole setup is.

went in to a small room with about 5 'clients' including myself, each with a relationship manager sitting beside them. then some older looking guy starts presenting slides while being all friendly and asking our names etc. he asked typical MLM questions like "do u wanna grow your income? do u wanna be rich" etc etc. and got us all to answer "yes" every single time (theory of commitment and consistency at play here). turns out.... its some real estate investment scheme. they presented condos that they invested in saying they paid all cash, no bank loan yada yada.

i was pretty pissed by then as it was already half an hour? and i was hungry and tired. honestly i was being quite rude by crossing my arms and replying half heartedly at his questions, but I can tell he was trying to suck up to me by saying i'm young and have a bright future etc. yeah, sure.

so basically from what i gathered from the talk, you can buy private properties in sg with them under their company name, and you own the company as a shareholder, they buy the property and they pay you dividends. there's no risk for you because the company is handling everything and paying the taxes etc. , and according to him "property prices will keep rising and are solid investments".

after the talk was over, i just told my RM i'm leaving, and she said "we're not done" , to which i replied "i'm not asking" and just nice the lift door closed in front of me as i said that and i promptly left the building.

so yes, please be wary of this company. if you really are a legit company doing ethical work, you wouldn't have to resort to such tactics to deceit people into attending your talks and events.

also, they'll call you and tell you that they're from RST solutions, but once in their office, there are no traces of RST solutions (no logos, name etc.) . its like you stepped into the wrong office because everything is branded as "4 mind ventures".

to be clear, this was what i was told during the talk :

RST Solutions and another company (can't rmb the name) form 4mind Ventures Pte Ltd

so basically 4mind ventures is the parent company of RST solutions.

https://www.sgpbusiness.com/company/4mind-Ventures-Pte-Ltd

if you look at the above business registration info, it shows they are in the business of :

Principal Business Activity : OTHER PROFESSIONAL, SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL ACTIVITIES N.E.C.

Secondary Business Activity : WHOLESALE OF MOTOR VEHICLES EXCEPT MOTORCYCLES AND SCOOTERS

huge mismatch between their registered entity description and what they actually do. 4mind ventures, f*ck you
