I also feel bloggers in Singapore are overrated, and the opinions for most of them are fake.
Have you read any sponsored post that are negative? Bloggers say their review are their own and true opinion, but when you are paid to blog, how can you be objective?
I think they should not accept any gifts or money to write review, but only from adverts placed in their website.

The FnB industry knows that they are either paid or given free meals. Has always been that way.

that's still ok form of marketing as long as it works to attract consumers.
bad are those without much viewership and asking for sponsors. as though aspiring to sponge off ppl.

The two bloggers I despise most: Ironladychef and Xiaxue, for obvious reasons I don't think I need to spell out.  :P

I used to follow ieatishootipost and try out some of his recommendations. Ninety percent of them are misses for me. I guess our tastebuds differ quite considerably. Also the change in the web site totally puts me off.

they need eyeballs to generate income mah ..... :P

the rule of the thumb is to trust blogs with no ads.

I'd never trust anyone who has to have an income stream from blogs.....

like my blog for example...... 8)
