car workshop - any honest shop to recommend?

hey fellow petals,

anyone can recommend a good car workshop? the ones that i usually go is authorised workshop, and whenever i go there, they will explain must do this must do that, and tell me in those technical language...
sorry but i really dont understand all the terms, and i cannot help but think im being chopped! :(

anyone knows a good honest shop, or at least something with a good boss or worker that can explain properly in english?

Hi!

I brought my car to service @ kaki bukit there (2 friends' recommendation of this place) , can't rmb the name of the shop, but the price is very reasonable, professional service and advises from the engineer there. I can't rmb the shop name, the name card is at home, i'll update later once i got home!

Hi, perhaps you can drop by my workshop and have a chat with my partners. Both of them do hands on and reassured that they can communicate well in English.

No obligation. Most importantly is to go to a workshop which you are comfortable with. I had bad experience myself before I started this with my partners.

Most car workshops are not honest.  Go back to authorized agent

eh authorised agent are one of the biggest fleece. they charge u an arm and a leg for some parts because, they can.
you can't void the servicing because by contract must visit them for first few yrs...

i have visit different car workshops... true that many of them are dishonest, but i am happy that the last few that i visited are all quite honest... dont let a few black sheep spoil your car experience. :P

me not happy with authorised agent too.
really pissed off they changed my brake pad, and i found out later the cost is doubled of workshop outsides.
legally chopped.  :'(
