Would like to recommend a soap brand which I have been using all these while to keep my skin white and smooth: K Brothers Jasmine Rice Milk Soap!
It originates from Thailand and it is hand-made by the Thais. They have been in the market for a very long time and many of the Thais use this brand too.
1) Not too harsh on the skin and it leaves a great smell after bathing
2) Very affordable pricing and one piece of soap can last up to 1 month
3) It really whitens my skin

Overall, fantastic brand! However, cosmetics/skin products are usually subjective. You may just buy one piece to try! There are quite a number of distributors selling this soap online but I always go to this one as it is the most reliable with fast delivery time: http://www.qoo10.sg/shop/yomitoo.

Hmm, I've been using Dear Dahlia products for a while now. I understand that whitening and bleaching creams can be very harmful to the skin as it causes skin thining and it also makes my skin very sensitive.

Ever since I switched to Dear Dahlia sunblocks as I have been using it for 3 months as my daily essentials.
At first, when you apply it, it might look very pale but it does have a very gentle whitening effect as well. I highly recommend this product as it doesn't clog pores, especially with Singapore's humid weather. Its very light on the skin and retains it's SPF properties. Really good! :D
