MLM-based products
« on: October 15, 2015, 08:09:28 am »
Recently had friends pushing for MLM related products like Elusyf or similar... something bout stem-cell... sounds extremely shady but many people swear by it... oddly these are university graduates who are educated...

Anyone had first hand experiences with MLM beauty products?

NUskin has been around for years. I've been using them at first to support a friend, but has never sold a single thing to others. do not like the concept of MLM. though still using NUskin till now not just to support the friend but because the product is not bad

I like Young Living. In the beginning I also steer far far away because its "MLM" but I'm very lucky the friend who introduced me is very patient and non pushy and I come to realize I really like the products so I just join as a member to get the benefits since I'm using it anyway.

i think young living is mainly pure essential oils. previously came across an article saying she sent some of the oils for testing and results came back not as per what her uplines has been telling her, i think got mixed in synthetic ingredients or something. *shrugs*

I like mary kay.  Initally, I also steer far far from my friend because she is the one doing but after years I see her skin complexion change very fast and it improve alot. Now I try using their cleansing brush, not bad can see slight improvement.

Besides that I like mary kay because when you sign up their membership, they offer skincare and makeup class / workshops (never ending + ongoing) and every month you redeem those points can exchange into gifts.

to be honest, i am against mlm. i really don't like making money from friends.
but if the product is good, then of course i will not mind using it and paying money for it
