Foundation for oily skin
« on: November 03, 2015, 09:32:50 pm »
What foundation do you recommend for oily skin to keep my face from getting shiny?

I am using loose powder from Ettusais but my face will get shiny again by midday.. Very sad.

Use bare minerals cosmetics, it's light on your skin, non comogenic and even my derm recommended it. Not sure if sg has it tho, I usually buy it online . One thing to note is never to use blotter.... it will only make your face more oily in the long run

I also have very oily skin, but after so many years of putting makeup, I cannot stop the oil from producing.

I've just started using mac studio sculpt foundation this year and it's really good because it doesn't melt off my face. It almost kinda stains on your face, but still feels light. Mac studio finish concealer also stays on really well on my oily skin.

I do recommend using these higher-end foundations because it does make a difference for me. when I use tissue or oil blotter to get rid of the shine, my makeup is still in place throughout the day.

Dewy cc creams are my worst nightmare.

@Raychael91 wah i didnt know blotting would make my face more oily in the long run. i have seen bare minerals around maybe i should try!

@Beefballs i had a mac studio tech but keep having pimples so now i am wary of MAC. used to use ZA 2 way foundation, found it on par with my MAC.

Is studio sculpt different from studio tech?

What is the cause of your oily skin?

Is it really oily?

Or is it coz your skin is too dry aka lack of water, hence, more oil are being produced to protect your skin, hence, the oily skin?

how do i remove toenails and skin trapped inside the green case?
