Braces for the second time anyone ?
« on: October 19, 2018, 05:47:14 pm »
Hi ,

Anyone here wore brace for the second time ?

I'm considering to wear braces again due to my teeth have shift outward :'(
I've extracted 2 upper teeths the first time and this time the dentist said I've to extract another 2 upper and 2 lower teeths (not wisdom tooth) if i were to opt for braces to shift back my teeth.

But my concern is that If i were to extract another 4 healthy teeths i will have lesser teeth . Will there be any impact when I'm older ? :o

thats the bad thing abt maintanence. i had this issue too.
after wearing braces and taking them off, you still need to wear retainer to maintain.

if you are removing wisdom teeth, it won't be a concern, i think we have 32 teeth, so less 4 wisdom teeth is fine.

but if not wisdom teeth, maybe better to keep it? we have so many ops such as root canal and crowning to protect and maintain our teeth, such a waste to remove healthy teeth.
