i think they used to be quite expensive to import. but with all the online shops now being so competitive, prices have been driven down to close to the prices in Japan.

Is collagen drink or powder really effective? How long do you ladies see effect after consuming it? What happens after you stop taking it?

have tried meiji & suntory micolla.
been taking for almost 3 years now, daily.
i feel that it helps the complexion, maintains your skin, nails, hair...
i would suggest trying each of them for a month or two. check which brand you're not allergic to. i have itching from micolla but it works so well, i just 'ren'.
when i stop for a week or so, i feel my skin is dry, less smooth, forehead starts to show my lines - maybe i'm exaggerating but i saw it that time and reminded myself never to forget taking.

meiji:
powder doesn't blend as easily as micolla
more fishy taste
less milky
price is cheaper than micolla
did not have itch from this formula.
comes in container, abit unportable.

micolla:
power blends very easily in plain water or any coffee
milky taste
price is higher than meiji
initial few weeks have itch on legs, after a week or so, it stops.
i feel better skin from this.
has sachets or powder in container.

currently bought this cheaper brand from a qoo10 sale, BeautyFood fish collagen.

BeautyFood fish collagen:
no itch.
comes in sachets, very portable.
blends easily, i don't even have to stir cos it'll mix into the plain water after a few minutes and i'm like, where's the powder?
so far, i think it measures okay - feels like meiji.
