Re: Annoyed from my bulbous nose, any suggestions where to change it?

Was your dad's surgery covered by the insurance and how about scars? Are they visible? And I've also heard that the nose becomes more vulnerable after rhinoplasty, isn't it?
Looking at my dad, I can't say that his nose became vulnerable :) He is playing with grandchildren as before but certainly the nose should be protected. I think any trauma can lead to the repeated surgery. Scars are almost invisible now and as our agent explained to us, cosmetic surgeries are not covered by the insurance. We could return the VAT tax though, just google it, last year it was possible in Korea, not sure about this year.

If you said that in general you like your nose, why do you need to change it? The main difference between changing only the tip and classic rhino is that the tip improvement procedure can't be standard so it's quite complicated. Haven't you thought of trying non-incision methods first? There are some risks, you know it from my experience, so I think it's better to make a mock change to see if it really suits you.
But how effective non-surgical methods can be? Are you talking about fillers? Have you tried them before?

I know two substitutes to rhinoplasty. The first is facebuilding or gymnastic/massage for face and injections/fillers. If the first can't be noticeably effective, as it's quite difficult to significantly change the bone and cartilage structure, the second can give you immediate, but only temporary effect. I tried fillers before the operation only once, when I was in Korea. I liked the result so much but the main disadvantage was short period and I was supposed to repeat the procedure after 8 months. The perspective of repeating the procedure every x-amount of time didn't seem attractive to me, so I dared for the operation.

Thanks for your advice, but I already contacted Regen about rhino and hope to receive their reply soon :)

Not sure if it's too late but have you heard of nose thread lifts? It is like a minimally invasive procedure and they will insert a thread to lift and shape the nose naturally. The threads will eventually dissolve but there would be calcium that would grow where the threads were, so it will last quite a while.
