Your SO's past.

Do you go find out about your SO's past? After knowing her past, does it affect your relationship?  :(

First ask yourself why do you need to know about her past?

One needs to ask oneself of knowing her past edifies the current relationship? ??? If the answer is yes, then by all means do. Understanding her past may help you avoid future pitfalls and minefields.

If the answer is no, then why waste a minute of the relationship when you should be looking forward 'cos one doesn't get to one's destination by driving looking through the rearview mirror. At best to check for blindspots only ....

Wishing you well,

Yes.
Both of us are open about our past relationships and what went wrong in the past relationships.

It really depends on individual's maturity in knowing the past.
For me and my bf, it actually helps us to understand each other better and the boundary that we have. It also help us know the expectations that we have for each other.

I thought by sharing my past I am being honest with my GF. She didn't take my past too well and keep harping on it etc :(

Can't share my past but let's just say no girls would be happy to have a BF with such a past

That's why I have been telling my guy friends not to share their past with current gf. No matter how steady the girl is, when come to quarrel time, they will sure bring it out one. Some guys think honesty is good, but they don't see it from another angle... Some thing can share some cannot lah
