Singaporean Men should grow up? Agree?
« on: October 15, 2015, 12:01:50 pm »
Even within tertiary institutions, local guys seem so childish. Instead of talking about careers and similar fields, they usually hang out and talk about army or games

Its no wonder then that we usually go for guys at least 2-3 years older.

We want mature, responsible, financially-independent men who are able to provide a sense of security

To me age is just a number, it is the mentality that counts. I have a male cousin 30 years old jobless and rather spend time drinking. Recently married a vietnam girl. Wonder why the girl marry him.

They still quarrel over money.

Age is just a number

You must be fairly young yourself....

1. If tertiary education = university, then male peers WILL be 2-3 years older than you.
2. If you actually have quite a few years of working experience under your belt, work is usually the LAST thing you wanna talk about in your free time.

Personally I feel maturity is not linked to educational level. I have seen well educated guys with impeccable academic credentials who are so immature it makes you cringe.

Work the last thing you wanna talk about? Then you're simply not ambitious enough. I have 0 friends my age who are ambitious and a huge majority have no 3-5 year plan. This forces me to make friends with people in their mid to late twenties. Some even early thirties. It's horrible I'll tell you.
