sian... should i friendzone?
« on: August 17, 2016, 12:06:58 am »
Just came back from 3rd date with a guy... feeling disappointed....

First date, went dutch on dinner. He didnt even pretend to offer to treat.

2nd date, we ate at food court, ownself bought ownselves' meals. He did asked what drinks i wanted...

Tonight, he asked me out for movie which he paid for the tickets first. I offered and bought burgers for both. I asked him how much is the ticket, he muttered something while i passed hin a $10. He gave me back $1.50... zzzzzzzz sian half. Thought since he asked me out, why never even offer to treat?? So at least i can treat him back. Totally feeling disappointed while watching the show. After the show, i straight away went home. Zzzzzzzzzzzz now my replies to him is very short as i am still disappointed. Zzz friendzone?

Maybe he's jobless?   :-\

I think u are too nice liao ... should have axed him after 1st date if he wasn't earnest  .... btw, did you initiate the dates? ??? ....

Next time check whether a guy is earnest:
  • make effort - dress nice nice, no shorts and slippers, put cologne chwee
  • make u feel like it was his privilege to go out with u. Not the other way round
  • auto take out wallet
  • sends you home

Otherwise major fail. forget about 2nd date. Life is short, YOLO!  8)

frankly speaking i would think a guy will do more to impress during first few dates. not saying that if he doesn't pay for his date then he's not good la. but i do believe whoever initiated the first date should (at least offer to) pay.

some pple are like that. it may be just his character and upbringing that makes him preferable to be "clean in accounting" or dutch.
not necessary bad guy, but still a minus point ba

first one is blind date, then I jio him to join a recreational course which he did. Right after the course, he said he was going home at first and I said I wanted to go to this shopping mall to catch pokemon XD and he followed me. Then he asked me want to watch movie, but I was feeling tired, so said no. Then that night, he asked again, I thought why not, so here I am, still feeling disappointed zzzzzz

if u still got not-too-bad feelings of him, i think its good to go on another date, give him another chance.
i last time usually give a guy i like 3 chances.

if want to be so calculative (or "clean in accounting") he should return $4 (plus the burger cost), not $1.50. 2 minus points.

Guess we will be still meeting each other for a while, due to the course. Think should friendzone him, don't expect too much..
